mysurveylab loves zendesk

We are very happy to communicate officially mySurveyLab - Zendesk integration.

What is Zendesk?

Zendesk is web-based Help Desk software with an elegant support ticket system and a self-service customer support platform. Agile, smart and convenient.

How integration works?

Integration is very simple, all you need to do is to create online survey with mysurveylab and then place your survey link (URL) in the email template in Zendesk system.

5.1 mysurveylab - integration and survey reports improved

We are happy to announce new version of mysurveylab online surveys tool. This time changes mostly concern integration and survey reports improvements.

  • survey results export to excel (.xls)
  • time filters
  • updated NPS question
  • enhanced "response ID" functionality
  • display your company logo on the survey reports page and "survey closed" page
  • any code page support

survey results export to excel (.xls)

We added native MS Excel (.xls) format support. Thanks to this functionality you will be able to export survey data directly to .xls file.

time filters

Ability to filter survey reports for specific time period. You can set filter to show data for specific dates (from - to), show last day, last week or turn time filter off. This feature will also allow you to export survey data only for selected time period.

updated NPS questions

We added possibility to turn off % sign in the NPS indicator.

enhanced "response ID" functionality

Better and more flexible integration using "response ID" control mechanism. Prepared solution allows external application (like CRM or mailing system) to control the way single response ID is created and managed.

display your company logo on the survey reports page and "survey closed" page

Now when you add your company logo to your survey it will be also visible on your reports page and "survey closed" page.

any code page support

We have improved multi-language survey results export support. Now you can export data using any code page. This is especially helpful when your analytical software can't read correctly national characters coded in UTF-8 (Unicode) and need special code page.

Integration with zendesk.com

zendesk.com is a popular web Help Desk software. mysurveylab.com is popular online survey software that allows to measure customer satisfaction and collect feedback.

Please find below short instruction describing how mysurveylab can be integrated with zendesk.com. This is easy to implement solution that will allow you to gather feedback and measure customer satisfaction (each time a ticket is closed) from Help Desk work.

to configure zendesk to work with mysurveylab :

  1. sign into zendesk.com
  2. select Manage and next Triggers & mail notifications
    zendesk - manage notifications 
  3. select Notify requester of solved request and press edit
    zendesk - edit notification
  4. set Meet any of the following conditions: Status > Changed to > Solved
    zendesk - condition 1
  5. add link (URL) to your survey in Perform these actions:
    Email user > (requester)
    Email subject: > [{{ticket.account}}] Re: {{ticket.title}}
    Email body: should contain link (URL) to your survey and referrer, which will allow you to identify clients. Referrer should end with slash /.

  6. press Update trigger button.

Survey results will be available in mysurveylab.com on reports. Information that will allow you to identify individual clients will be available in response details in referrer row.

NOTE. If you want to add a referrer containing first and last name of a customer (supported with zendesk) to your survey just add /referrer/{{ticket.assignee.first_name}}+{{ticket.assignee.last_name}}/ at the end of survey link.
