Available question types

mysurveylab provides 19 survey question types and 9 test question types. Each question type is visualized in a different way on the reports.

Single choice questions

This question type allows to select only one answers from available answer choices. On the reports answers are presented as bars, in addition you will see information about number of answers and percentage split of answers.

Multiple choice questions

This kind of question allows to select multiple answers from available answer choices. On the reports answers are presented as bars, in addition you will see information about number of answers and percentage split of answers.

Matrix questions

This question type allows to select answers from available options. On the reports answers are presented in a table.

• matrix - one answer per row
• matrix - one answer per row (rating scale)

Descriptive questions

This kind of question allows to enter answer by respondent. On the reports answers are presented as they have been written by respondent.

• open ended - one line *
• open ended - one / multiple lines *
• open ended - essay *
• open ended - numerical
• open ended - date, time

Additional formatting elements

Additional formatting elements allowing to add image, additional description or space between question.
